Preparing For Your Tan
Before You Enter The Booth
Step 1
Get undressed and remove any jewellery
Step 2
Put on haircap & leave ears and hairline exposed
Step 3
Apply barrier cream to your palms, back of hands & feet including nails. Do not apply to bottom of feet.
Step 4
Apply sticky feet before getting into the tan booth to keep bottom of feet clean.
Let's Glow
Select your preferred tan colour and depth from the Tan Menu, and enter the number into the blue box and press start to activate the booth. Enter the booth and tap the green flashing button to begin session.

Our private shower & exfoliation room is conveniently available to use by all members to prep prior to their spray tan booking.
FAQ'S
Our booths are completely automated and run through our TANNING BARE app. The booth is equipped with audio guidance taking you through 4 easy poses! (6 poses if you added Hydration Primer Spray to your session)
With hydration primer - there are 6 poses total as the primer will be sprayed on first (only doing 2 poses for this being your front and your back). Once the primer has been sprayed on, the booth will reset quickly and begin your session from the beginning this time spraying and directing you through your front, right side, left side and back.
Without Primer - there are only 4 poses (your front, right side, left side and back)
- Check into your tan room with our app via the reader located on the wall (the same way you entered the studio)
- Select your chosen tan colour and depth from the tan menu located on the wall inside the Tan Room
- Enter the number into the blue box on the wall under the reader
- Press 'Start'
- Enter the booth and press the green flashing button to begin your session
- Follow the voice guiding you through the poses/ the numbers on the floor of the booth. Ensure you're listening to what the booth tells you to do with your feet and mimic the poses poster on the wall of the booth with your arms and body positioning

Easy to read Tan Menu's are also displayed in our tan rooms with all options for you to go over on the day.
Our tan booths spray a super fine mist for a streak-free airbrushed finish with fast-drying components that dry you a total of 6 times.. 8 times if you added Primer to your session. Allowing you to exit completely dry & go about your day as usual, with minimal transfer to clothing or bed linen!
Unfortunately, no. For the safety of yourself and others, please do not bring friends or family with you to your appointment unless they’re already members of the TANNING BARE Studio. We pride ourselves on our safe and secure environment in the studio at all times and need to ensure that anyone entering the studio has signed their waiver and terms and conditions of the studio.
Should you be opting to use the Shower and Exfoliation room prior to your spray tan session, we recommend you bring your own exfoliating mit to use in the shower. Post spray tan, we recommend you bring loose clothing to wear after your session. We supply hair nets, sticky feet, disposable g-strings, breast pads (for breast feeding mummas!) and barrier cream.
